This small plastic disc is located under the bobbin winder on most Brother sewing machines that have the F.A.S.T bobbin winder system. It is a simple push on and once in place allows you to cut the thread after the bobbin has finished winding, this bobbin thread cutter has two tiny knife blades that you pull the thread through after winding the bobbin and it will cut the thread..! saves getting the scissors out..!
