For Janome sewing machines with a top loading spool, the satin stitch foot is for dense zig-zag stitching. Bottom of foot is bevelled for smooth delivery of thread when sewing decorative or satin stitches. Made in clear plastic, it makes it easier to view the stitches as you sew.

Overall rating This was to replace the original foot supplied with my machine about 20 years ago. Does what it says on the tin, but it's great to be able to get spares to rejuvenate a trusty old friend.
