Using this zipper foot you can stitch on each side of the zip. The edge of the foot guides the zip to ensure straight placement. Its a snap-on type foot which was original equipment on the Janome sewing machine when new.

Overall rating This was the exact foot I needed after losing the one that came with my Janome sewing machine whilst moving house.
It was easy to find on the website and delivery was so fast - I ordered 23rd Dec hoping to receive it between Christmas and New Year but I actually received it the next day on Christmas Eve! (Posted on 1/9/12)
