I am very pleased with this overlocker. I wanted a moderately simply overlocker, so that l could do 4 thread overlocking, and to be able to finish off knitted fabrics, but this machine allows you to very easily convert to 3 thread overlocking and you can do blind hemming and rolled hemming as well. I found the machine easy to thread and the free demo on DVD is excellent. (Posted May 24, 2013)

I bought this on behalf of my wife as her previous Overlocker was broken. This is a fantastic Overlocker. It is quiet, smooth running and works like a charm. It comes threaded with alot of white cotton so my wife was able to just jump straight in and start overlocking right away. No setup, no messing around, the instructions are very clear and well written. The DVD is great too. I would recommend this to anyone from complete novice to seasoned pro, it does it all. Excellent overlock machine for avid sewist and beginners too. It's simple, compact and easy to use, not much fussed. If you are looking for a good quality overlocker, this is a good one to start with. It came quickly the next day, good service and value for money. (Posted August 6, 2012)

fabulous machine, for both new-comers to overlocking & someone who wants more from a machine. Separate foot accessories allows this machine to be comparable to top end domestic overlockers for the price of a basic machine. The only improvement I could see would be the inclusion of a type of knee extension bar that would allow hands free lifting of the sewing feet. (Posted July 14, 2012)

I have been contemplating buying an overlock machine for some time now and finally decided to buy this one based on the good reviews. I received the machine in only 2 days. I was a little apprehensive using the machine even though I am an experienced sewer but I watched the DVD and started with no problems. I'm really pleased with my Brother 1034D Overlocker and even as a complete novice it didnt take me very long to get started and achieve some success. Threading wasnt too bad at all however only with the help of a video I found on You Tube. The manual and dvd that came with the machine were not so good. The only problems I have experienced have been getting the tension right so the stitches are correct and tidy but after much fiddling around and experimenting I think I've cracked it. Before purchasing this machine I telephoned and asked a few questions and explained I was a novice and the help I was given was absolutely excellent. The machine itself is fantastic and does all that I need and much more. The downside is the instruction book is lacking (Posted June 25, 2012)

This machine is absolutely fantastic. Easy to use and very easy instructions on how to accomplish your tasks (according to the wife!) A brilliant compliment to her Brother sewing machine which I bought her some years ago. This is an excellent overlock machine. Really simple to thread. Not only does it have a simple lower looper threader, but the needles are also relativity easy to thread, even for someone with not the best eyesight. I have only had it for a couple of days, but I have tried many different materials and stitches, and the quality of the stitchings is exceptional! I do not know how well this machine will stand the test of time, but for ease of use and quality of stitching it get highest possible marks. (Posted January 11, 2012)

I borrowed my friends overlocker but damaged it, and bought one from you as a replacement. From using my friends, i found it easy to use (I forgot to replace the guard) and left me very impressed and bought myself one as a result. Really fantastic service, and a great machine. When i first used it, i had to turn the wheel quite hard to start it off (i didnt want to force it so spent ages trying to work out what was wrong), but it turns out they must tighten it when packing it so that the machinery doesnt move. After the first time it runs smoothly!

Was really pleased with the online tracking and status updates as im quite hesitant to use internet sites i havent heard of, but was really pleased. I have now put in another order for a coverstitch machine, and i will continue to use this site in the future. (Posted October 9, 2009)

I love mine, great price does everthing except 2 thread stitches. Easy, easy to use. Beautiful stitches, easy to thread. Extra feet available. Cant go wrong unless you want something reallly fancy and very expensive price. (Posted March 28, 2009)
