The Brother 1034D Overlock Machine sews seams and trims excess fabric, it features two needles and 3 or 4 threads with a differential feed system suitable for all types of fabrics and home decor projects. It comes ready threaded with 4 large white cones to start stitching immediately straight out the box and has built-in rolled hem at the touch of a button, flatlocking and decorative applications are no problem. Its a machine for the learner or may be someone thats never had an overlocker, its easy to thread and use and even comes with a tutorial DVD to get you started.
It features a switchable knife, to cut/trim off while stitching or not. Easy lay in threading with tension release for correct threading. Adjustable stitch length control and adjustable differential feed mechanism to allow for gathering of fabric or sewing with stretch fabric.
The large, long bed to allow easy feeding of larger items, yet remove the extension table for overlocking of trouser legs and other hard to reach places.
Slant needle bar - allows excellent view of working area and means the presser foot lifts over bulky hems with ease.

Overall rating This is an excellent overlock machine. Really simple to thread. Not only does it have a simple lower looper threader, but the needles are also relativity easy to thread, even for someone with not the best eyesight. I have only had it for a couple of days, but I have tried many different materials and stitches, and the quality of the stitchings is exceptional! I do not know how well this machine will stand the test of time, but for ease of use and quality of stitching it get highest possible marks. (Posted on 1/11/12)

Overall rating I borrowed my friends overlocker but damaged it, and bought one from you as a replacement. From using my friends, i found it easy to use (I forgot to replace the guard) and left me very impressed and bought myself one as a result. Overall rating Really fantastic service, and a great machine. When i first used it, i had to turn the wheel quite hard to start it off (i didnt want to force it so spent ages trying to work out what was wrong), but it turns out they must tighten it when packing it so that the machinery doesnt move. After the first time it runs smoothly! Was really pleased with the online tracking and status updates as im quite hesitant to use internet sites i havent heard of, but was really pleased.
