Set the needle to stop in the up or down position.
Reverse stitch.
Use the machine with out a foot control press the start button to start sewing.
Set the max speed, handy for beginner sewers, or where there is a fine sewing job.
Adjust the stitch width and length settings.
Authentic quilting stitch
Select the stitch, use the key and select the stitch number, the stitch is preprogrammed to optimal setting, however these can be overridden.
LCD screen easily allows you to view information such as stitch number, length, width and presser foot to be used for each stitch. Press the buttons to over-ride the default settings and select your own.

Overall rating This is my first sewing machine so I can't really compare it to anything. I think that the machine is very good for beginners as it is so easy to handle. Top loading bobbin is good, also speed control option and fast bobbin winder It is lightweight and therefore easily portable. It also displays error codes that can be useful for the beginners like me. There's also a selection of stiches to choose from and I haven't tried the botton bottonhole sewing yet. My one concern is that the machine is a bit plastic.
So far I'm happy with my purchase and i was happy with the delivery service also.
