When removing the fabric from the machine, it is easier if the needle is raised to highest position. Overall rating Great machine. Very easy to use and quality stitches. Had Brother previous and was pleased with that one too. This one is an upgrade and I am really enjoying all the new features. Overall rating My husband bought this machine xmas 2010, I love it,the only fault I have is when you select a pattern number, it doesn't stay on the screen,it would be just a help if it did,other than that I can not fault it,its worth every penny. (Posted on 7/12/11)
