Janome 1600P QC professional is a fast straight stitch quilting machine... The "P" stands for professional and understandably so, the "QC" for Quilting Companion. Fast speeds and smart design make the 1600P-QC the perfect machine for sewing and quilting! It's an industrial quality machine packed with unique features not normally found on a domestic machine. Our 1600 qc machine also includes a large extension table.

It a new QC model with quilting added extras, like automatic thread cutter, cuts the top and bobbin threads at the push of a button. ALSO can be used from quilt frame handle via cable hookup. Pressure foot sensor and with 11Lbs of pressure to power through even the tickest layers of fabric. Memorized UP/DOWN needle setting, Knee lifter and "liquid start" foot control for greater speed control.

It has an Aluminum body in white and grey with a longer arm that provides 50% more working space than other machines. It has a high powered motor which can sew up to 1000 stitches per minute - 25% faster than most machines. And it is a flatbed machine, styled for those bigger projects such as home furnishing, bridal wear and quilting. Industrial quality tension control, variable foot pressure, a built in needle threader, a knee lifter, a speed control lever, a needle up/down memory key, dual lights, unique automatic thread cutter and a large extension table, complete the exterior features of this machine. You can even wind a new bobbin whilst sewing.
