With such a huge library of stitches, strong sewing speed, and great variety of customizing options, it's hard to know where to look first. But a good place to start is the large, backlit display. Here you can select from the 534 built-in stitches across four modes and easily create custom combinations of up to 50 stitches each to save in one of five memory banks.

The LCD display shows you a Whole range of information from recommended tension to what foot to use for the stitch you select so there is no need to keep looking at the instruction book all the time as it gives you a lot of information on screen. All that you have to worry about is how long it is going to take you to choose what stitch you are going to use from the vast number of stitches.

If you are in hurry and just need a quick straight stitch you can use the easy direct buttons on the front of the machine for your every day stitches by pressing the button that your stitch is on and you are away its is a simple as that. The Janome 4900QC sewing machine will set each stitch you select to its own recommended stitch width and length but you do have the choice to adjust both the stitch width and stitch length.

A knee lift allows you to raise the presser foot while keeping your hands on your work. And the Start/Stop button means you can sew without using the foot control. On big projects this is much more relaxing.
