Shadow free lighting is provided by 5 bright white lights whilst quick and easy stitch selection can be made on the large touch screen or with the jog dial. Choose from over 600 stitches, alphabets and numbers including some great fun play stitches. Memorise a combination of these... the Janome Memory Craft Horizon 7700 QCP will calculate the length of the combined patterns just to make sure they fit into the available space.
Other special features include an automatic needle threader, a speed controller to set the maximum sewing speed and a stop/start button if you choose not to use the foot control. It also has a needle up/down button which programmes the needle to either finish in the up position or in the fabric... great for pivoting an corners! Overall rating I purchased this machine about 6 months ago and have never looked back. The extra length means that a king size bed can be quilted with relative ease and free hand quilting is now much easier. Overall rating First and foremost I want to thank all the staff at Sewing Machine Sales for the help and never ending patience. - I without question received the best service I have ever experienced and would recommend this company to anyone who was considering purchasing a sewing machine.
The purchase of a Janome Horizon was a huge amount of money for me as I am disabled with very little income.
This is one fabulous machine constructed in a heavyweight casting (16Kgs+) The quality is just exquisite and a joy to use. As an absolute beginner I am finding the machine easy to use and control - the built in speed limiter allows this very powerful machine to be controlled down to a pace I can easily control. With a superbly lit needle area and bed With my poor eye site I can easily see whats going on. With so many options - stitches - accessories - it would be easy to be completely overwhelmed. Not so the instruction manual is clear and concise clearly laying out each function with good diagrams and clear easy to understand instructions.
I have a long way to go on my intended journey to become a skilled creator of toys and other projects. I am confident my Janome will be a faithful and trusted companion with the superb backup and support.

Overall rating this is a lovely machine.i sew clothes as well as free machine embroidery. acu feed works well attatching it the first couple of time is a little awkward, but not too much.extensin table is fab.i also dont find the flat bed to be a problem.i enjoy this machine and i hope you will too.
