There is a option to the way the Janome MB4 can be used or purchased, the embroidery head, the embroidery head including the RCS (remote computer screen) or may be the embroidery head and MB4 professional digitizing software.

The picture shows the Janome MB4 Embroidery head including the RCS, this option will allow lots of flexibility. The RCS is attached via a adjustable swing out arm, it's all a very compact and setup like this is a totally independent unit.
The RCS unit is designed for easy operation, it has 55 built-in designs, and its own memory, however you can import designs from a USB memory stick or ATA Janome embroidery card.  May be a embroidery design that you have downloaded from the Internet, resize, move, mirror image, rotate, drag, cut, copy & paste into position in the edit screen, then may be add text form the 10 built-in fonts, rotate, arc over or under, want the letter to be spaced out a little more! no problem with the RCS unit. All this time as you are building your very own creative design you can see exactly what your doing on the full colour screen.

The MB4 embroidery head is available separately, this is because the MB4 head can be linked to a computer via its own built in USB port, then using the optional MB Digitizer software you can control the machine from your attached computer, in fact you can network up-to three MB4 heads to one computer in this way.
