Use Clear Foot N with Fancy Stitch Guide N-1 to serge a mock flat-felled seam.

Serge fabrics together using a 3-thread narrow overedge stitch.

Press seam to right.

Set machine for 2-needle coverhem wide.

Open left door of serger and set notch on Fancy Guide N-1 into needle plate hole. Close door.

Place fabric under presser foot with bulk of fabric in groove of guide N-1.

Lower needles into overlocked seam and lower presser foot.

Sew first stitches by hand using handwheel. Continue sewing at medium speed.
