Use Bias Tape Guide with Multipurpose Foot M to apply bias tape as edging.

Set machine for 2-needle coverhem wide.

Cut length of bias fabric 1 1/2 inch wide. Press under 1/4 inch both sides of tape length to finished folded width of 1 inch.

Place folded edges into guide H-3. Position fabric under foot and snap H-3 guide onto Multipurpose Foot M.

Sew first stitches by hand to hold bias in place using handwheel. Insert fabric into slot between folded bias and continue sewing.
