Use Lace Guide F-3 with Transparent Presser Foot F to attach lace to upper side of fabric with cover hem.

Set machine for 2-needle coverhem wide.

Open left door of serger and insert notch on underside of lace guide F-3 into needle plate hole. Close door.

Press 1/4 inch hem toward right side of fabric. Lace will cover raw edge when sewn.

Place folded fabric edge into lower section on left side of guide and under presser foot. Place lace into upper section on right side of guide and under foot.

Lower needles into lace and fabric. Lower presser foot.

Sew first stitches by hand using handwheel. Hold fabric in left hand and fabric in right hand and continue sewing.
