Place wrong sides of fabric together and overlap raw edge of lower fabric by about 3/8 inch.

With upper fabric even with inner right edge of foot, stitch seam together.

Press seam to left. Press under overlap just 1/2 inch down.

Place overlapping edge over tongue of felling foot. Fabric must be placed completely under presser foot.

Sew along folded edge with straight stitch.

Felling foot turns hem and stitches along edge. Pull fabric layers taut during sewing.

Stitch: Straight

Stitch length: 2 - 2.5mm

Tension: 3 - 5
