This video shows the Piping Foot

To stitch piping into a seam:

Position piping along seam line on right side of fabric. Place second piece of fabric on top, right sides together.

Put fabric and piping layers under Piping Foot with piping in groove on underside of foot. Sew with straight stitch, length 2.5. Groove on underside of foot will guide piping.

To make piping from fabric:

Cut bias or crosswise grain strips wide enough to cover cording plus seam allowances.

Lay cording on wrong side of fabric strip and wrap fabric over cord.

Place fabric and cord under Piping Foot with cord in groove on underside of foot.

Stitch. Groove will guide cord so fabric covers evenly.

Stitch: Straight

Stitch length: 2 - 2.5mm

Tension: 3 - 5
