Quilt Technique:

Select straight stitch. Engage IDT (if available on machine).

Set tension at normal (4 - 5).

Insert quilt guide and set for distance required between rows.

With quilt needle, sew quilt lines, moving quilt guide to follow previous line each time.

Top Stitch:

Use top stitch needle when sewing with heavy thread.

Good for sewing straight stitches like edges of shirt, collars, labels, etc.

Stitch Length: 2.5mm

Tension: -4+
