Use the Beading Needle Plate P with Beading Foot P to serge on beads and make a rolled hem at the same time.

Set machine for folded 2-thread rolled hem.

Move needles to highest position. Open left door of serger and press down on needle plate to disengage lever. Remove needle plate to left. Snap Bead Needle Plate in place. Close door of serger.

Set stitch length between 2.5 and 4, based on pearl size (max. 4mm).

Place fabric under presser foot and lower needle into fabric.

Position pearls under groove in foot and lower presser foot.

Sew first stitches by hand, using handwheel. Hold pearls behind foot while sewing.
