I purchased the digitizer pro a year ago for 495.00 and it is brilliant however, i have just lost my dongle and janome will not send a new one even though i have offered to pay for a new one...I have to buy the whole kit again at another 495.00 which is disgusting. i have the original box etc. I do a lot of digitizing but have to say i will never buy a janomoe product again that i cant replace the parts...so be aware and if you one of those people who have purchased or going to purchase this product please take care of the dongle.....without it you cannot access the programme. review by debbie I have the v2.0 Digitizer pro and the updates are nice, its a good package made even better with this v2.0 Lettering Enhancements, you now have 4 new mongram fonts and can add ornamental accents to monograms. User defined hoops. Yes you now have the ability to create user defined hoop sizes for compatibility with other sewing machine brands. Enhanced motifs. You can now set size and space of motifs numerically to allow easy coping and exact settings in motif fills. You new blackwork motifs. Insert color change. Easily insert a manual color change into any object for multi-color embroidery. MA hoop support and automatic design splitting for the MA hoop. It is an easy machine to learn how to work with or without the instruction manual. I feel like I am getting better results with the 350e than I did with my Pfaff (which I am keeping). I researched embroidery machines before I bought this and I am glad I chose this one. review by Topaz Although all the technical information is available online, I like to share a few of the things I learned today. The machine is manufactured in Sweden. It took the Pfaff design team four years to design the machine in Kaiserslautern,Germany. They listened to what people liked/disliked on their current sewing machines. The result is a fantastic new sewing/embroidery machine. The Creative Vision is very easy to navigate. It is more user friendly than the Pfaff 2170, plus it has 16 times more memory than the 2170. You can resize and scale in the machine. It has auto tension. No presser foot lever, it adjusts to 4 height positions though. Great for quilting. The new bobbins hold more thread. The machine has 9 mm stitches and new somewhat rounded presser feet, but many of the newer Pfaff presser feet, made since 2004, can be used too. Last but not least, the Creative Vision makes very nice buttonholes. Equal satin stitches on both sides, up and down. review by Pina The machine is great however I broke a needle in it and had to replace the bobbin case. I had to take it in for repair 50 miles away from where I live until I found this company online and now I can purchase parts online. Saves me a ton of money. review by Robin Yeargan I have had my Creative Vision since Janaury. I use it almost exclusivly to my other machines. It is a fantastic sewing machine, and the Grand Dream Hoop is just the best. I have had a few tension problems with CNT messages, and I hope they will give us an update to have the Cut Jump Stitch funtion. There are maybe one or two little things that could be tweaked.
