Use Multipurpose Elastic Foot with elastic gathering guide to sew elastic tape and elastic thread.

Set machine for 3-thread overedge wide or 4-thread overedge seam.

Select Elastic Gathering Guide based on size of elastic. Attach guide onto elastic foot.

Loosen screw on top of Elastic Gathering Guide and insert elastic into slot. Pull elastic under foot, extending beyond back of foot.

Tighten screw on Elastic Gathering Guide to set gathering ratio.

Position adjustable guide so that elastic is in line with needles.

Place fabric under elastic. Sew first stitches by hand, using handwheel. Continue sewing at medium speed.
