Snap eyelet plate onto needle plate, making sure pin A fits into middle cut-out of needle plate. Push plate down at front.

Mark position of eyelets. Tightly hoop fabric, using stabilizer.

Cut one or two fabric threads at centre of marking and push fabric over eyelet plate pin. Fabric should fit snugly on pin.

Place presser foot lift in free-motion/darning position.

Pull up bobbin thread and hold for first few stitches.

Stitch around eyelet cut with desired stitch, turning hoop slowly and evenly. Stitches should be very close.

Secure with straight stitches.

Stitch: Utility or decorative stitches.

Stitch length: Controlled by speed at which hoop is turned.

Stitch width: 7
