Remove regular needle plate by placing small flat side of light bulb changer under groove on right side of plate and pushing upwards to release right side.
Slide light bulb changer to groove at left underside of plate and push up to release plate. -or- Place thumbs on front corners of needle plate and pull up on back. To attach plate: Position left side of straight stitch plate and push down on right to snap into place. -or- Position front of plate and snap back edge down.
